Collection and Use of Personal Data
When you use Ginst, we collect some information needed to run the game.
This includes your username, your country or region, your device and app version, and some app identifiers used by services like Firebase, ads, analytics, and notifications.
We use this information to:
- run high-score tables,
- suggest popular songs in your region,
- keep your account working,
- fix bugs,
- keep the game safe,
- show ads,
- send notifications if you allow them.
Do not use your real name as your username. Your username may appear in high scores, screenshots, or shared links.
Detailed Information
To provide, maintain, secure, and improve our services, we may collect and use the following types of information when you use Ginst:
Online Identifiers: We may collect app and service IDs that usually do not directly show your real name, such as Firebase app IDs, analytics IDs, internal account IDs, advertising IDs where applicable, and technical information sent with app requests. We use these IDs to keep your account connected to our servers, choose the right app settings, find and fix bugs, prevent abuse, understand how the app is used, show ads, and operate integrated services.
Account and Gameplay Information: We may collect your username, country or region, high-score entries, song statistics, settings, notification preferences, and whether an account is marked as a tester or debug account. We use this information to operate game features, rank scores, suggest relevant songs, keep account features working, and support testing or troubleshooting.
Device and App Information: We may collect your device type, operating system, app version, language, region, crash logs, diagnostic data, and similar technical information. We use this information to maintain compatibility, fix bugs, improve performance, protect the game from misuse, and keep integrated services working correctly.
Third-Party Services
Our Software package uses third party services that may collect information used to identify our users. In order to achieve best playing experience, third party services may collect information about Players personal contacts to invite them to multiplayer games. Such use of personal contacts from third party services will necessarily require the explicit consent of the user through the appropriate online form.

Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
User Choice and Control: We respect your privacy and provide you with the choice to opt-in or out of tracking through the Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
Purpose of Tracking: If you grant permission, we may collect and link information from our app with data from third-party apps and websites.
Advertising & Measurement: This data—which may include your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA)—is used to deliver personalized advertisements and measure ad performance.
Managing Preferences: You can change your tracking preferences at any time by navigating to your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Third-Party Data Sharing and Advertising
To support Ginst, we partner with third-party advertising networks, primarily using Google AdMob mediation, to serve advertisements within the game.
Data Collection and Personalization
To ensure ads function correctly and are relevant to you, AdMob and our advertising partners may collect certain device information. This includes your IP address, app bundle ID, and a unique, resettable device identifier known as the Android Advertising ID.
Collected Advertiser IDs provide a customized content and advertising experience.
Regional Compliance and Ad Personalization
How personalized ads are presented to you depends on your location:
- Opt-In Regions (EEA, UK, and applicable US states): We use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) to obtain your explicit, prior consent before displaying personalized ads, in compliance with regional privacy laws.
- Other Regions: For users in areas where advertising platforms do not prompt for explicit consent by default, personalized advertising is automatically enabled. However, we believe in universal data control, and we ensure that all users - regardless of location - have the ability to easily opt out of this personalization.
Your Choices and Right to Opt-Out
Whether you wish to revoke previously granted consent or opt out of automatically enabled personalized ads, you have complete control over your experience. You can manage your preferences at any time using two methods:
- In-App Control: You can opt out of personalized ads directly within the game. Simply toggle the "Disable Personalized Ads" option in the Ginst settings menu (Ginst Menu -> Settings -> Account -> Disable Personalized Ads). Once disabled, Ginst will immediately stop sending personalization requests to our ad networks, and you will only see non-personalized ads.
- System-Level Control: To permanently delete your Android Advertising ID, or generate new one, please refer to your device's privacy settings.
